Choose Outfits that Reflect Your Personality
Select clothing that makes you feel comfortable and represents who you are. Consider your favorite styles, colors, and patterns. Many clients also play sports at their school and bring uniforms.
Layers Add Depth
Wearing layers can enhance your look. Consider adding a jacket, scarf, or cardigan to create dimension in your outfit.
Solid Colors vs. Patterns
Solid colors often photograph better than busy patterns. If you choose a pattern, make sure it’s not too overwhelming.
Accessorize Wisely
Accessories can elevate your outfit, but don’t go overboard. Choose a few key pieces that complement your look.
Footwear Matters
Your shoes should match your outfit and be appropriate for the setting. Consider comfort, especially if you'll be moving around a lot.
Consider the Location
Most of our senior sessions are shot at our outdoor studio location which features a waterfall, stream, woods, rock walls and fences so there are plenty of spots for scenery changes. We can travel to different settings upon request!
Plan for Multiple Outfits
Bringing a couple of different outfits can give you variety in your photos. Consider a mix of casual and formal looks. Some schools do have standards for the yearbook picture so keep that in mind as well!
